Research Findings Presented at the 55th Annual Meeting of the Japan Pancreas Society
Our collaborative research findings on pancreatic cancer biomarker discovery were presented at the 55th Annual Meeting of the Japan Pancreas Society on July 25-26th 2024. The research was conducted with Dr. Takashi Kobayashi and Prof. Yuzo Kodama from the Department of Gastroenterology at Kobe University. The study demonstrated the potential for biomarker creation for early pancreatic cancer diagnosis through:
- Exploring novel enzyme activity biomarker candidates using our proprietary “Single-molecule Enzyme Activity-based Liquid Biopsy” technology
- Constructing a classifier through machine learning-based selection
- Evaluating test performance reproducibility in an independent validation cohort, including Stage I-II patients
We will continue to advance research and development toward the social implementation of this technology.
